The contacts menu available in VSPortal has been implemented also in Vippie! thus enabling travelling users to access their contact information directly from the communicator.  The contacts can be called or IM or SMS directly from the address book menu. The search functionality allows to find quickly needed information. Also Vippie! utilizes special mechanism for exchanging the data with the server which prevents from loading the whole recordset with every login. Part of the data are kept locally and Vippie! controls the data integrity, in case if a contact was added from the VSPortal. Also the new records added from Vippie!, or any changes, are updated instanteneously on the server.
